mediumTandoori chicken is a staple in most Indian cuisine, it’s traditionally grilled in a clay tandoor grill but who said you can’t still enjoy the flavours and still have it charred. Grilled using @instantpotuk Instant vortex plus versazone air fryer on a grill mode.
Ingredients
1/2 tsp garam masala
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp kasuri methi
2 chicken leg pieces
1 tsp paprika powder
1 tsp daniya powder
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tbsp kashmiri chilli powder
2 tbsp natural yoghurt
ginger & garlic paste
salt to taste
Instructions
Step 1
Wash the chicken and pat dry.
Step 2
Score the chicken.
Step 3
Add all the dry spices and wet ingredients and massage onto the chicken covering the chicken evenly with the masala paste.
Step 4
You can grill it straight away however, i suggest leaving it to marinade at least 30 minutes before grilling it. for best result leave in the fridge overnight.
Step 5
Turn the grill on 205c and grill for 20 minutes, 10 minutes on each side. cooking time will vary depending on the size of the chicken.
Step 6
Serve with pilau rice or naan bread.
